Substructure: concrete founded on steel piling. Span: 73'
Completed: 1994

Project involved the development of contract plans and documents for the widening of the existing roadway approach with minor alignment adjustments, a pile & lagging retaining wall & fence, replacement of a deficient bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad, utility relocation, storm drainage, an elaborate maintenance of traffic scheme with temporary traffic signals, roadway & bridge designs.


Lynn Camp Bridge

Structure: prestressed box beams founded on steel piling and hammerhead pier.
Span: Two 70' (140' total)
Completed: 1993

The project involved the reconstruction of an existing road on a relocated alignment, replacing a deficient bridge, and a revised intersection with a county route.

The project included the widening of the existing roadway approach with minor adjustments, while replacing a deficient bridge, storm drainage, traffic control devices, relocation of parking lot for mobile home community, utility relocation, roadway & bridge designs. The staging of the construction scheme involved a temporary detour road and bridge.

The project involved the reconstruction of the existing roadway approach on a relocated alignment, replacing a deficient bridge, and a revised intersection with County Route 13.

Span: 58' Completed: 1997

The project involved a study, design and plans for the replacement of a section of roadway containing a washed out bridge. The plans included roadway & bridge designs, storm drainage, scour analysis, maintenance of traffic scheme, utility relocations, and traffic control devices. Three bridge superstructure alternatives (steel, concrete, and box culvert) were evaluated, along with alternate abutments types and span configurations.
